Have Questions? We Have Answers:
Common questions that we get are…
How can I locate an available charger?
Use the Evri app to find nearby charging stations. The app will show you real-time availability, allowing you to navigate directly to an open charger. You can also filter by charger type (Level 2 or Level 3) and payment methods to fit your needs.
Can I monitor my session remotely?
Yes, you can track your charging progress in real-time through the Evri app. It will show you the current charging status, energy delivered, and estimated time to complete the charge, so you stay informed no matter where you are.
What do the charging statuses mean?
Ready: The charger is available for use.
Charging: Your vehicle is actively being charged.
Paused: Charging is temporarily stopped but can resume.
Complete: Charging is finished, and your vehicle is fully charged.
Unavailable: The charger is currently out of service due to a fault or maintenance.
How do I start charging?
To begin charging, park your vehicle and connect it to the station. Use the Evri app to scan the QR code on the charger or tap your RFID card to initiate the session. You can also start charging directly from the app by selecting the charger and tapping “Start.”
Can I reserve a charger in advance?
Yes, some Evri stations allow you to reserve a charger through the app. Simply select a location, choose the time you’d like to use the station, and confirm your reservation. This way, you can plan ahead and avoid waiting when you arrive.
Why is there a pending charge on my card?
When you start a charging session, a temporary authorization hold is placed to cover the expected cost of the session. After charging is complete, the hold is adjusted, and you are charged only for the energy used. The hold is released within a few business days, depending on your bank.
